Seasonal Sale Bargains: Cami Dresses

There might be some, rather sensible, folk among you who think ‘but it’s October!’ when talk turns to cami dresses. For you, we have just one word: layering! A cami dress can be worn with a myriad of other items so mix and match to your heart’s content! Or, alternatively, get a great bargain now – while such garments might be considered out of season, at least in the Northern Hemisphere – for next year’s holiday! Available for a frankly astonishing £29, this dress has a relaxed fit, a beautiful draped bodice overlay and spaghetti straps.

Our next selection is decidedly more summery, but could be worn with either a T-shirt underneath and/or jumper on top to great effect. ASOS Collection’s cami dress is made from a woven fabric with a tie-dye print in shades of green, pink and inky blue. The V-necked (and backed!) frock has narrow camisole straps and a ruffle hem and is a great buy at less than half its original price.

Oasis’s lace cami dress is cut in a relaxed fit and made from a stretch fabric that will drape over your curves in flattering fashion. Very much mini in length, it has lace detailing around the neckline and exposed shoulders. With both a detachable self-belt and adjustable straps, it has pretty pleats and is a vibrant red colour. Best of all, it’s currently more than seven quid cheaper than it was mere weeks ago, so it’s a great time to buy!

Tammi 2 Tone Lace Barely There Sequin Slip Dress

OK, so this one isn’t for the faint-hearted – or anyone with a less-than-stellar central heating system. In a warm club, though, the Tammi ‘barely there’ sequinned slip dress by – though it really does live up to its ‘barely there’ billing – could be just the ticket! Made from a sheer lace fabric in an elaborate embroidered pattern, it has a deep V-back and black ruffled lace edging around the front neckline, as well as a slit at the side.

Victoria Beckham Cami Dress

Victoria Beckham Cami Dress – £310 (was £1,150)

Though – out of all of our choices – it’s undergone the most radical price reduction, this cami dress by Victoria Beckham is still far from being a steal! However, these dresses don’t generally come cheap – and that’s a whopping £840 off the original tag! And it is rather gorgeous – with ruched detailing to the chest and sophisticated styling all round. Act quickly if you like this one though – it’s running out in most sizes as we speak!
